PT Argha Karya Prima Industry Tbk (AKPI) in the first quarter of 2021 posted net sales of Rp639.40 billion, an increase of 11.73% (YoY) from the same period in the previous year of Rp572.24 billion.

Based on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) financial reports, AKPI's net sales in the first quarter of 2021 were dominated by domestic sales to third parties of Rp415.38 billion. Meanwhile, AKPI's export sales for third parties were Rp224.01 billion in the same period.

At the same time, AKPI's cost of goods sold increased by 8.89% (YoY) from Rp519.12 billion in the first quarter of 2020 to Rp565.30 billion in the first quarter of 2021. As a result, AKPI's gross profit grew 39.50% (YoY) to Rp74.09 billion in the first quarter of 2021, compared to the same period in the previous year of Rp53.11 billion.
