Jakarta - The business entity of FinAccel Pte Ltd, PT FinAccel Teknologi Indonesia (FTI), has completed the takeover of 1.157 billion shares of PT Bank Bisnis Indonesia Tbk (BBSI), representing 35%.

According to BBSI President Director Laniwati Tjandra, FTI has obtained approval from the Financial Services Authority OJK on March 29th, 2022, and December 23rd, 2021.

As a follow-up to the approval of the OJK takeover, FTI carried out a takeover of another 5% of BBSI's shares that had not been taken over. The company will carry out the plan in April 2022.

"Thus, FTI becomes BBSI's shareholder with ownership of 2.315 billion shares, or 75% of BBSI's issued and paid-up capital," Laniwati said on Wednesday (4/13).

The acquisition of these shares came from PT Sun Land Investama with 455.688 million shares, or 13.78%, and PT Sun Antarnusa Investment with a total of 31.460 million shares, or 0.95%.
