PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTK) has increased its share ownership in PT Sarana Meditama Metropolitan Tbk (SAME).

President Director of Sarana Meditama Metropolitan Jusup Halimi said the company purchased 203.1 million SAME shares, equivalent to 1.71%.

The purchase price was Rp635 per share, bringing the total transaction to Rp128.97 billion.

"The transaction will be carried out on June 25, 2021 for investment, direct share ownership status," he said in information disclosure on Monday (28/6).

After the transaction, EMTK owns 8.79 billion shares of SAME, or equivalent to 73.89%, up from the previous 8.59 billion shares or 72.19%.

Previously, Sarana Meditama Metropolitan planned to hold a limited public offering II (LPO II) with pre-emptive rights or Rights.
