Indonesia Export Rises 55% YoY to US$12 Billion in June


The Central Statistics Agency BPS announced that Indonesia's export in June 2021 reached  US$18.55 billion.

In June 2021, exports grew by around 54.46% YoY compared to the same month last year, which was at US$12.01 billion. Meanwhile, when compared to the position in May 2021, which was at US$16.93 billion, there was an increase of 9.52%.

Exports in June this year consisted of oil and gas exports of US$1.23 billion and non-oil and gas exports of US$17.31 billion.

"During 2021, our exports are very promising where since January-June it has been higher than the position in June 2020 of US$12.01 billion and June 2019 of US$11.78 billion," said Head of BPS Margo Yuwono in a press conference live streaming on YouTube on Thursday (15/7).
