Edge Point Buys 33% Shares of Centratama Telekomunikasi for Rp2.04 Trillion


A Singapore-based company, EP ID Holdings Pte Ltd or Edge Point, bought 10.29 billion or 33% shares of PT Centratama Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (CENT) for Rp.2.04 trillion.

This corporate action makes Edge Point the new controller of the tower issuer.

Based on information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), Friday (9/7), Edge Point bought Centratama shares at Rp198 per share price. Edge Point completed the transaction on 7 July 2021.

"After the transaction, Edge Point's share ownership increased to around 23.94 billion shares representing 76.8% of all issued and fully paid shares in Centratama Telekomunikasi," said the management.

According to information, Edge Point increased CENT's share ownership to more than 76%, most likely took over from Clover Universal Enterprise Ltd, which Northstar Group controls. This is a business group owned by Patrick Suguto Walujo and Glenn Sugita.
