Jakarta - PT Modernland Realty Tbk (MDLN) is optimistic that the Kelapa Gading-Pulo Gebang Inner Fly toll road will spur property sales in the Jakarta Garden City (JGC) township area.

Director of Marketing Urban Development of PT Modernland Realty Tbk Helen Hamzah said the construction of toll roads would increase accessibility to the development of Jakarta Garden City as a township.

"Today's society tends to consider choosing residential areas that are close to toll roads. The benefit of the property being adjacent to the toll road is the easy access to numerous destinations or activity centers, which tends to save travel time," she said on Thursday (26/8).

The 9.3-kilometer Kelapa Gading-Pulo Gebang toll road, which President Joko Widodo recently inaugurated, is part of the 6 Jakarta Inner City toll roads, completing the structure of the freeway network in the Greater Jakarta Metropolitan area (Jakarta-Bogor-Depok-Tangerang-Bekasi).
