Early Trade, JCI Rises 0.53%


Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) in trading on Wednesday (23/11) opened up 39.73 points or 0.57% to 7,070.33.

At the opening, 190 stocks were gaining, 72 stocks were weakening, and 236 stocks were unchanged. The trade transaction value reached Rp244.22 billion from 332.80 million shares traded.

The strengthening of the JCI was supported by most of the sectoral indices. The index with the biggest gain was the IDX Energy Sector, which rose 0.93% this morning.

Meanwhile, the IDX Technology Sector was the only sector that weakened after dropping 0.02% in early trading today.
