Dharma Satya Plans to Use Solar Power Plant for Wood Product Business


PT Dharma Satya Nusantara Tbk (DSNG) plans to install solar power plants (solar panels) in the wood products business segment.

In June 2021, DSNG has appointed a solar panel provider company that utilizes technology from Norway to install the solar power plant on the roof of the PT Tanjung Kreasi Parquet Industry (TKPI) factory with an area of ​​16,000 m2, which is capable of generating electrical energy with a capacity of 2 Megawatts (peak capacity) in a year.

TKPI is a subsidiary of DSNG that produces engineered flooring, located in Temanggung, Central Java.

The President Director of DSNG, Andrianto Oetomo, said that using solar panel technology is one of DSNG's commitments to developing renewable energy by gradually reducing electricity derived from fossil energy. It will apply the technology in its palm oil business and wood product segments.
