DEWA Swings to US$8.15 Million Loss in Jan-Jun
Jakarta - PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) recorded a loss for the current period attributable to owners in the first half of this year of US$8.150 million compared to the same period last year, earning a profit of US$1.510 million.
The company's financial report released on Tuesday (9/27) showed that a higher cost of revenue of around 37.96% to US$189.223 million from US$137.154 million triggered the loss.
Operating profit eroded about six times, to US$1.256 million, from US$6.875 million.
Nevertheless, DEWA managed to increase revenue by around 26.79%, to US$193.885 million from US$152.913 million.
DEWA was also able to reverse the foreign exchange loss of US$1.413 million to a profit of US$5.603 million. Interest income also almost doubled to US$158,306.
Until the first semester of 2022, DEWA's total assets were recorded at US$673,120 million with liabilities of US$411,511 million and equity of US$261,609 million.
