Delta Dunia Sells US$400 Million Bonds with 7.75% Coupon

PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID), through its unit, PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama, has sold global bonds with a five-year tenor worth US$ 400 million, carrying a coupon of 7.75% per year.

"BUMA has also completed the roadshow for global bonds that will mature in 2026. The bonds will be listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange, "said DOID President Director Hagianto Kumala in the IDX disclosure, Thursday (28/1).

Pricing for the issuance of the new debt securities and signing a purchase agreement had been carried out between BUMA, JP Morgan SAE Limited, and UBS AG Singapore Branch as the joint book-runner (JBR). BUMA
also signed the purchase agreement related to the plan to issue debt securities with JBR on January 26, 2021.

BUMA's corporate action had previously received approval from shareholders, DOID, at the EGMS held on July 9, 2020. Approval from DOID is mandatory because the value of new debt securities issuance reached 267% of the company's total equity recorded on December 31, 2019, amounting to US$ 280,570 million.

As a condition for the issuance of new debt securities, BUMA will sign a charge account for the debt service accrual on behalf of BUMA, which will be made under Singapore law.
