DOID Gets Extension Contract of Goonyella Project


Jakarta - PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) business entity, PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama (BUMA), through BUMA Australia Pty Ltd, obtained a contract extension from BHP and Mitsubishi Alliance (BMA) for the Goonyella project worth AUD400 million.

DOID president director Ronald Sutardja said the contract extension from BMA was for up to three years, with the option to be extended for another two years with an average annual production target of 36 mbcm p.a.

"This contract extension reflects BUMA Australia's professional team's track record in providing safe, efficient, and consistent mining operational services for BMA's coal mining projects," said a statement released on Monday (9/19) in Jakarta.

BUMA Australia will provide mining services at the Goonyella Riverside mine, a metallurgical coal mine located in the Bowen Basin in Central Queensland, Australia.

The company posted revenue of USD72 million, an increase of 107%
