Delta Dunia Net Loss Widens 12.42% to US$25.51 Million in First Quarter


PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) in the first quarter of 2021 posted a net loss attributable to owners of the parent company of US$25.51 million, an increase of 12.42% from a net loss of US$22.69 million in the same period the previous year.

The financial report published on Wednesday (30/6) revealed that the increase in net loss was triggered by the high financial burden of around 69.97%, from US$13.65 million to US$23.20 million.

In addition, other income has more than doubled to US$487,549 from US$1.04 million.
Net income also decreased by 17.61% to US$159.68 million from US$193.82 million.

Nevertheless, the company managed to reduce the cost of revenue by around 4.70% to US$151.93 million from US$159.43 million.

Other expenses also fell drastically or about five times from US$30.62 million to US$6.58 million.
