Jakarta - PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) in the first semester of 2021 posted a net profit for the year reaching Rp680 billion, compared to the same period in the previous year with a loss of Rp192.68 billion.

"This positive net profit achievement was supported by an increase in operating income of around 39.20% to Rp3.25 trillion from Rp2.34 trillion," said Director of BSDE, Hermawan Wijaya, in a statement on Wednesday (18/8).

BSDE's operating income is divided into seven segments, namely land sales, buildings, and strata title, rental, construction, hotels, recreational areas, building management, and others.

The property developer recorded total land, buildings, and strata title sales in the first six months at Rp2.57 trillion, significant growth of 47.18% from Rp1.75 trillion. As a result, this segment was recorded as the largest contributor to total operating revenues on a consolidated basis, 79.04%.
