Concern over Global COVID-19 Cases Limits Rise in Gold Price


The spot gold price on Monday (26/7) is predicted to remain above US$1,800 per troy ounce, as concerns about the increase in global COVID-19 cases, lingers in markets.

"The increase may be limited to the area of US$1,820 per troy ounce because the market also anticipates the strengthening of the US dollar ahead of the Fed's decision this week," said Commodity Observer Ariston Tjendra in Jakarta.

The potential for gold price movements in today's trading is in the range of US$1,790-1,820 per troy ounce.
