Jakarta - PT Centratama Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk (CENT) through PT Centratama Menara Indonesia (CMI) purchased 397 telecommunication towers belonging to PT Anugerah Communication (PTAC) worth Rp1.17 trillion.

This step was marked by the signing of a conditional asset purchase agreement between CMI and PT Anugerah Communication (PTAC).

"This transaction is principally carried out in order to increase the portfolio of telecommunication towers owned by the CENT Group, and to develop the company's strategic business in the future," said CENT Corporate Secretary Wiwik Septriandewi as quoted in an information disclosure in Jakarta, Monday (8/22).

He explained that the allocation of funds for the purchase of towers came from internal cash and bank financing.

CMI is a business entity of CENT with 99.99% ownership.
