Capital Inflows Reaches Rp1.66 Trillion in 2nd Week of September


Jakarta - Head of the BI Communications Department Erwin Haryono said that during the period 6-9 September 2021, foreign capital inflows into the domestic market reached Rp1.66 trillion.

"This amount consists of a net purchase in the state securities market of Rp810 billion and a net purchase of Rp850 billion in the stock market," he said in his statement on Monday (13/9).

Thus, in the current period of 2021, foreign capital flows were recorded to have entered Indonesia as much as Rp. 32.88 trillion.

He added that Indonesia's credit default swaps (CDS) risk premium was 67.09 bps or grew from 66.33 bps last week.

Yields on 10-year government bonds and 10-year US treasury yields fell to 6.15% and 1.297%, respectively. Meanwhile, the dollar index (DXY) strengthened and closed at 92.48.
