IDX Suspends Trading of Trans Power Shares Today


The Indonesia Stock Exchange temporarily suspended the trading of PT Trans Power Marine Tbk (TPMA) shares on trading on Tuesday (9/2).

"The suspension was carried out in the context of colling down due to an increase in the cumulative price of Trans Power Marine shares," said Head of the IDX Transaction Supervision Division, Lidia M Panjaitan, in the IDX disclosure, Tuesday (9/2).

The temporary suspension of trading in TPMA's shares is on the regular market and the cash market to provide sufficient time for market players to carefully consider based on the information available in each of their investment decisions in TPMA shares.

"Interested parties are expected to always pay attention to the disclosure of information conveyed by the company," he said.

As of the end of September 2020, Trans Power Marine Tbk recorded a decrease in net profit of around 70.25% to US$ 1.16 million compared to the same period the previous year, which reached US$ 3.9 million. Revenue also fell 5.63 percent to US$ 30.14 million from the same period last year of US$ 31.94 million.
