Jakarta - PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI), until the end of the first semester of 2021, posted a profit for the year attributable to owners of the parent entity of US$1.89 million compared to the same period last year, a loss of US$86.10 million.

The financial report released Friday (27/8), this positive profit achievement was supported by the growth in profits of associates and joint ventures more than doubled or from US$34.17 million to US$88.38 million.

BUMI also earned a net other income of US$26.39 million from previously recorded net other expenses of US$18.32 million.

In addition, the cost of revenue also decreased by about 16.20% to US$341.73 million from US$407.79 million.

Until the end of June 2021, BUMI's total assets were at US$3.52 billion with US$3.306 billion in liabilities and US$217.344 million in equity.
