Jakarta - PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) projects coal production from the Kaltim Prima Coal and Arutmin mines will range from 55-57 million tons and 26-29 million tons, respectively.

To support the coal production, BUMI estimates that KPC will cost around US$40-45 per tonne, while Arutmin is in the range of US$28-34 per tonne.

The company estimates that the selling price of coal for each mine will be US$120-150 per ton and US$80-100 per tonne.

"With the improvement in the coal sector and the upward trend in coal prices, which continued in the second quarter of this year, we hope to significantly improve performance this year, despite various challenges, both global and domestic, that affect Indonesia's economic recovery," said the Director of BUMI, Dileep Srivastava, through a press release on Thursday (2/6).
