Jakarta - PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA) until the end of the first semester of 2021 recorded a profit for the year attributable to owners of the parent entity of Rp1.77 trillion or grew by around 38.04% compared to the same period the previous year of Rp1.28 trillion.

Based on PTBA's financial report released on Wednesday (1/9), the company's revenue grew by around 1.41% to Rp10.29 trillion from the same period the previous year of Rp9.01 trillion.

The company also managed to pocket an increase in the share of other comprehensive income from joint venture entities to Rp130.34 billion from Rp75.74 billion.

Until the end of the first semester of 2021, PTBA's total assets were at Rp27.04 trillion, with cash and cash equivalents at the end of the period of Rp2.47 trillion.
