PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) participated in the Government-Business Cooperation Project (PPP) for the Serang-Panimbang Toll Road with a total investment of Rp8.5 trillion.

BSI acts as a Joint Mandated Lead Arranger (JMLA) for sharia syndicated financing, with a financing portion of Rp4.45 trillion, consisting of a sharia portion of Rp1.8 trillion and a conventional portion of Rp2.65 trillion.

Participants providing Sharia facilities are BSI, PT SMI (Sharia Business Unit/SBU) Usaha Syariah, Bank Aceh, Bank Panin Dubai Syariah, BPD North Sumatra (SBU). Apart from being JMLA, BSI also acts as an agent for sharia facilities.

PT Wijaya Karya Serang Panimbang used this financing to construct a toll road with a length of section 83 kilometers which is divided into three sections, where there is support from the government to build section 3 along 33 km. Thus, the WSP portion is section 1 and section 2 along 50 Km.
