BidCo Allocates Rp1.6 Trillion to Buy Matahari Department


Auric Digital Retail Ltd (BidCo) made a voluntary tender offer to buy 1.050 billion or representing 40% of the total shares of PT Matahari Department Store Tbk (LPPF).

Based on the summary prospectus published Friday (4/6), the voluntary tender offer price is set at Rp1,530 per share. Thus, the total value reached Rp1.607 trillion.

The 40% of the shares tender-offered exclude shares owned by Greater Universal Limited and OUE Investment Pte Ltd (VTO). Voluntary Tender Offer ​​shares consist of all series of shares owned by Matahari, namely series A, B, and C shares.

After the end of this voluntary tender offer period, BidCo will purchase 139.821 million shares from Greater Universal Limited, representing 5.32% and 125.975 million shares or representing 4.8% of the total shares 10.12%.

As of the date of this voluntary tender offer statement, BidCo owns 500 shares of Matahari. After the transaction executed, BidCo controls 1,316,256,612 share
