Jakarta – Bank Indonesia (BI) has five strategies in place to support the development of micro, small, and medium-sized companies (MSMEs) in the national halal industry.

"The first strategy is to accelerate halal certification fulfillment for MSME participants in the halal market, particularly culinary products, food and beverage, and fashion," said Bank Indonesia (BI) Governor Perry Warjiyo in Jakarta on Wednesday (25/8).

The second method, according to Perry, is to strengthen the capacity and institutions of corporate players in fostering high-value product creation.

"This strengthening is important for MSME actors to be able to compete with the uniqueness of halal products as a whole. The third is business and product development that aims to guarantee halal products as a whole, from production to marketing in the supply chain ecosystem," he explained.

Furthermore, sharia financing support, both commercial and soci
