Jakarta – Price stability is a momentum to strengthen the role of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), especially the food sector.

Perry Warjiyo, Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI), stated that the role of food MSMEs in an integrated economic ecosystem must be increased to promote national economic recovery and community welfare.

"The role of MSMEs in the food sector must be complemented by adaptation to digital technologies and expanded from upstream to downstream, including wider market access," he stated on Wednesday (25/8) at the 2021 National Coordination Meeting for Inflation Control.
