Jakarta - The Board of Governors Meeting of Bank Indonesia (BI) decided to maintain the BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate (BI7DRR) at 3.50%.

"The decision of the Board of Governors (BI) meeting on August 18-19 2021 decided to maintain the BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate at 3.5%, the Deposit Facility interest rate at 2.75%, and the Lending Facility interest rate at 4.25% ," said BI Governor Perry Warjiyo at a press conference on Thursday (19/8).

According to Perry, this decision aligned with efforts to maintain exchange rate stability and the financial system amid the low inflation forecast and the efforts to support economic growth.

"In addition, Bank Indonesia continues to optimize the entire policy mix to maintain macroeconomic and financial system stability and support further economic improvement efforts," he explained.
