Jakarta - Bank Indonesia (BI) assesses that there are three important elements in a new civilization emerging as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI) Perry Warjiyo said three elements include digitalization, where social restrictions imposed during the pandemic have accelerated digitalization in various aspects of economic activity.

"Digital learning is needed in the world of education, the acceleration of the national digital financial economy is also a game changer during the pandemic and digital application in other sectors," he said at the Opening Ceremony of the XXI ISEI Congress on  Tuesday (31/8).
