PT Bayan Resources Tbk (BYAN) is targeting operating revenues in the range of US$1.4-1.6 billion in 2021.

The annual report for Bayan Resources 2021, published on Friday (7/5), states that the planned business revenue achievement is in line with the sales volume target of 32-34 million metric tons.

The company estimates an average reference coal selling price of US$80-85 per metric ton this year for Newcastle 6,322 kcal/kg, which is anticipated to result in the company's average coal selling price of between US$46-48 per metric ton.

The company targets the total coal production to be higher than last year, and this year will be in the range of 32-34 million metric tons, up from last year's actual production of 30.2 million metric tons. This increase will align the production target with the company's sales target.

"Because unlike 2020, we didn't start the year with a significant amount of inventory," said management.<
