Barata Indonesia, Treehouz Asia to Build Biomass Waste Processing Plant in Indonesia


PT Barata Indonesia cooperates with Treehouz Asia, a company based in Malaysia, to establish a strategic partnership to build an alternative energy fuel plant using wood-based biomass and wood processing waste in Indonesia.

This strategic cooperation was stated in the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU). Following the MoU, Barata Indonesia and Treehouz Asia also signed an NDA. The signings were carried out online on Wednesday, August 10, 2021.

"Barata welcomes the opportunity for cooperation in the development of biomass projects in order to support the co-firing program in Indonesia and also increase production in the form of pellets or sawdust for both domestic and export needs," said Marketing Director of Barata Indonesia, Sulis Handoko in a statement Thursday (12/8).
