Bank UOB Ends Bond Sale Program


PT Bank UOB Indonesia Tbk announced to stop raising funds through the issuance of the next phase II subordinated bonds.

The reason was that the liquidity condition and capital ratio of Bank UOB were currently well maintained, and the bond sale program for subordinated bonds II has ended on June 28, 2021.

"Thus making the achievement of funds raised less than planned," stated UOB Bank's information disclosure to the Exchange on Thursday (1/7).

Meanwhile, the remaining sustainable subordinated bonds II bond program that was not issued amounted to Rp1.25 trillion, with the planned target of funds raised from the corporate action reaching Rp2 trillion.

Meanwhile, the realization of the funds raised was Rp750 billion through the issuance of continuous subordinated bonds in phase I-2019 of Rp100 billion and phase II-2019 of Rp650 billion.
