Jakarta - PT Bank Raya Indonesia Tbk (AGRO) recorded a decrease in profit for the period attributable to owners of around 41.34% to Rp15.379 billion in the first half of this year from the same period last year of Rp26.218 billion.

The company's financial report released on Thursday (9/29) showed that the company's lower profit was due to a 17.62% decline in net interest income to Rp357.212 billion from Rp433.661 billion.

Operating expenses swelled by around 47.98% to Rp254.801 billion from Rp172.183 billion.

However, the company doubled its operating income to Rp71.386 billion from Rp38.543 billion. Thus, operating profit more than doubled to Rp104.475 billion from Rp40.933 billion.

Non-operating income also more than doubled to Rp107.510 billion from Rp41.430 billion.

Meanwhile, AGRO's total assets reached Rp14.477 trillion as of June this year, with liabilities of Rp12 trillion and equity of Rp2.399 trillion.
