PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk plans to increase its capital by providing rights issues as much as 28.67 billion series B shares or 23.25% of the issued and fully paid capital.

The brief prospectus published on Tuesday (15/6) showed that the government, as the controlling shareholder of BRI or 56.75%, will participate in all Preemptive Rights that it owns by putting into the government's shares.

The government shares input will include 6.24 million series B shares or represent 99.99% of the total issued and fully paid capital in PT Pegadaian (Persero), and 3.79 million series B shares, representing 99.99% of the total shares issued and fully paid capital in PT PMN.

This share input plan uses the basis of audited historical consolidated financial statements as of March 31, 2021.
