Bank Rakyat E-Channel Transactions Rises 33% YoY in 2nd Quarter
Jakarta - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Tbk recorded e-channel transactions as of the second quarter of 2021 as many as 5.7 billion transactions, an increase of 33% YoY compared to the same period last year.
"For BRI, the change in people's behavior who now prefers digital transactions also affects the achievement of BRI's e-channel transactions," said BRI Consumer Director Handayani in a statement on Thursday (19/8).
According to Handayani, along with the widespread use of e-channel transactions by the public, BRI continues to spur the development of digital banking, one of which is through BRImo.
"BRImo is a major contributor to BRI's e-channel transactions, this is evidenced by the achievement of 1.89 billion transactions during the second quarter of 2021 with a 65% YoY increase in transactions," she added.
