Jakarta - PT Bank Negara Indonesia Tbk, as of the third quarter of 2021, posted a net profit for the year attributable to owners of Rp7.74 trillion or grew 79.34% compared to the same period the previous year of Rp4.31 trillion.

In the financial report published on Monday (25/10), the company reported net profit growth was supported by an increase in interest income and net premium income of around 7.17% to Rp29.62 trillion from Rp27.64 trillion.

In addition, the company managed to reduce the rate of operating expenses other than net interest by around 8.12% to Rp19.87 trillion from Rp21.63 trillion.

As for the third quarter of 2021, the company's total consolidated assets reached IDR 919.44 trillion, with liabilities of IDR 802.12 trillion and equity of IDR 117.32 trillion.
