Shareholders of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk in today's Annual General Meeting of Shareholders approved a dividend distribution of Rp820.1 billion or 25% of the 2020 net profit, which reached Rp3,280 trillion.

"Then 75% of the net profit of Rp2.46 trillion as retained balance," said the President Director of BNI, Royke Tumilaar in the online AGM on Monday (29/3).

He added BNI would pay dividends to state accounts amounting to Rp492.58 billion and the public's share of around Rp327.52 billion.

In 2020, BNI's net profit performance decreased by around 78.7% from the previous year, which reached Rp15.38 trillion.
