Bank Mandiri Sells US$300 Million Global Bonds


PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk has completed the issuance of the three euro medium-term notes (senior unsecured fixed interest notes) in US dollars (EMTN) of US$300 million on April 19, 2021.

"Through the issuance of the third EMTN debt securities, the company has obtained funds that will be used for public purposes, as well as financing or refinancing eligible green assets / eligible social assets projects," said Bank Mandiri Corporate Secretary Rudi As Atturridha in the IDX disclosure, Wednesday (21/4).

He added that the plan to issue another EMTN would positively impact the company's financial condition.

This global debt security has a coupon of 2% and a tenor of five years or will mature on April 19, 2025.

The third global debt securities will be listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange and part of Bank Mandiri's EMTN program with a US$2 billion principal.
