Bank Mandiri Sells Global Bonds

PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk sells Euro Medium Term Notes (EMTN) in US dollar denominations.

This EMTN issuance is the third time and part of the EMTN program with a US$2 billion principal amount.

The third issued EMTN began on April 9, 2021, to investors outside the United States and will be listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange.

"When EMTN is carried out, the company will receive funds that will be used for general corporate purposes and refinance eligible green asset projects," said Senior Vice President of Bank Mandiri Rudi As Aturridha in an IDX disclosure on Tuesday (13/4).

He considered that the corporate action plan had a positive impact on the company's financial condition.

The first issue was carried out for US$750 million and was completed on April 11, 2019. The second issue amounted to US$500 million and was completed on May 13, 2020.
