BBKP Sells Non Performing Assets for Rp4 Trillion


Jakarta - PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP) sold non-performing assets and risky loans worth Rp4.13 trillion on June 21, 2022.

"The non-performing assets and risky loans are from 180 debtors," said BBKP Chief Operations Helmi Fahrudin in an information disclosure on Monday (6/27).

He explained that the lender sold its non-performing assets and risky loans to IDBM United Pte Ltd Singapore as a special purpose company (SPC) with a selling value of Rp 2.65 trillion, or the equivalent of US$183.1 million.

SPC issued a private bond (bonds) amounting to US$180 million as payment for the purchase of the troubled asset portfolio. The term of the bonds is five years with a partial or full purchase option.
