Jakarta - PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Banten Tbk (BEKS) has prepared certain strategies to make a profit this year.

Bank Banten President Director Agus Syabarrudin said the lender had taken various steps to make the profit target achievable.

"The first step is to buy back loans for civil servants (PNS) of the Banten Provincial Government of Rp557 billion from BJB, then present products that allow the increase of third party funds, digitize, and encourage customers to increase their productivity," he said in a statement on Tuesday (14/9).

According to Agus, his party has prepared a strategy to ensure that Bank Banten reaches the target set at the beginning of the year.

"With a captive market of 70,000 civil servants in Banten, Bank Banten still has a lot of room to grow. We are trying to go all out with our main customers and open options for product derivatives and services that are integrated with e-commerce," he said.
