Jakarta - Chief Economist of Bahana TCW Investment Management Budi Hikmat, is optimistic that the economic recovery will occur, especially in the real sector, in the fourth quarter of 2021.

"(The expectation for economic recovery) will also increase the confidence of both domestic and foreign investors in the domestic market," he said in his statement in Jakarta on Monday (20/9).

According to Budi, the driver of the economic recovery is the improvement of the government's dealing with the COVID-19 spike. The results are already starting to show.
The government has also started to lower the PPKM level. For example, even in several areas on the island of Java, the government has reduced PPKM to level 2.

"Our health is in a much better position than the previous three months. This is a breath of fresh air for national economic growth," he explained.
