Jakarta - PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (AUTO) this year continues to drive growth in performance by spurring domestic sales and exports in line with the economic recovery.

"We target this year to continue to grow compared to last year. The company's strategy is to keep trying to grow in the domestic, regional, and global automotive markets," said AUTO President Director Hamdhani Dzulkarnaen Salim in Jakarta on Wednesday (6/8).

Last year, the company recorded a net income of Rp. 15.15 trillion, or a 27.65% growth compared to the 2020 realization of Rp11.86 trillion.

The revenue, in detail, is the result of local third-party sales of Rp8.81 trillion in 2021, up from Rp7.42 trillion in 2020.

On the other hand, income from exports rose to Rp1.43 trillion in 2021 from Rp1.27 trillion in 2020.

In addition, the company also recorded revenue from related parties of Rp5.27 trillion in 2021 from Rp3.48 trillion in 2020.
