Jakarta - PT Asia Pacific Fiber Tbk (POLY) has diversified its business by adding activities to make hazmat clothes, personal protective equipment (PPE), masks, and health blankets.

Based on the official publication of POLY on Monday (23/8), the addition of this business activity is to help the government, namely the National Disaster Management Agency, as an institution appointed by the government to handle the prevention and spread of the COVID-19 virus.

Shareholders approved this business diversification move at the EGM held on September 9, 2020.

The company expects this additional business activity to overcome the shortage of PPE clothes, masks, health blankets which are opportunities for POLY and at the same time provide added value for the company.

The company markets products from these additional business activities domestically.
