As of June, Ashmore AM Sees Managed Funds to Reach Rp34.95 Trillion


As of June 2021, PT Ashmore Asset Management Indonesia Tbk (AMOR) estimates that the managed funds will reach Rp34.95 trillion.

The projected fund under management is contributed by a fixed income of Rp11.06 trillion, shares of Rp23.60 trillion, and others of Rp0.29 trillion.

"Despite volatility throughout the quarter, the Indonesian stock market index closed unchanged quarter on quarter (QoQ), and with small/medium cap stocks and technology-related sectors outperforming large cap stocks for the third consecutive quarter," said AMOR's President Director. Ronaldus Gandahusada in his statement, Wednesday (14/7).

According to Ronaldus, the bond market, on the other hand, continued to recover where yields on Indonesian government bonds peaked at the end of March 2021 before strengthening with 10-year bond yields dropping 21 basis points during the quarter while rupiah volatility remained under control.
