As of June 22, NAV of Mutual Funds Reached Rp544.44 Trillion

The Financial Services Authority (OJK) recorded that the net asset value (NAV) of industrial mutual funds until June 22, 2021, reached Rp544.44 trillion.

Based on OJK data published on Monday (28/6), these figures represented a grew of 1.5% compared to the position in May 2021 of Rp536.29 trillion.

The Association of Indonesian Mutual Funds and Investments (APRDI) targets mutual fund managed funds to grow by around 10-15% this year. The forecast takes into account market conditions that are better this year in line with the economic recovery.

Other positive catalysts are the trend of interest rates projected to remain low and the investment manager's plan to manage BP Tapera's contributions (contribution of public housing savings management agency) through the KIK (small business loan) scheme.

Meanwhile, data from the Indonesian Central Securities Depository noted that the addition of mutual fund investors this year is quite exciting.
