As of August, 28 Companies Becomes New Lists on IDX


The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) stated that up to August 9, 2021, it had managed to list 28 new shares, making it the highest in ASEAN.

"The Covid-19 pandemic situation did not dampen investors' interest in transacting in the Indonesian Capital Market. On the demand side, the number of Indonesian Capital Market investors recorded at PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) as of August 6, 2021, grew by more than 50% to 5.8 million investors compared to the end of 2020. They consisted of stock investors, mutual funds, and Debt securities. Around  2.6 million of the investors were stock investors," said Corporate Secretary of the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) Yulianto Aji Sadono in a statement on Tuesday. (10/8).

Meanwhile, if you look at the composition of investors based on transaction activity as of July 2021, retail investors recorded large transaction activities, which reached 59.1% of the total average daily transaction value, while
