First Semester, Antam Swings to Rp1.16 Trillion Profit from Losses Year Ago


Jakarta - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) until the first semester of 2021 recorded a profit for the year attributable to owners of the parent entity of Rp1.16 trillion, compared to the same period in the previous year, which lost Rp159.40 billion.

The financial report published on Tuesday (28/9), significant sales growth of around 87% to Rp17.28 trillion from Rp9.24 trillion, supported the profit. 

Domestic net sales contributed or around 79% or equivalent to Rp13.68 trillion of total net sales.

By segmentation, commodity sales of gold products were the largest contributor to Antam's total net sales, or around Rp11.87 trillion or equivalent to 69%, followed by ferronickel at around Rp2.59 trillion (15%), nickel ore at Rp2.07 trillion (12%), as well as the bauxite and alumina segment of Rp13.68 billion (4%).

Antam also posted an Ebitda of Rp2.49 trillion in the first half of this year, with an operating profit of Rp1.53 trillion.
