Jakarta - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk and CNGR Co., Ltd. signed a Heads of Agreement for the construction and development of a joint industrial estate project that focuses on downstream nickel production.

"This collaboration will adopt the latest technology for nickel production line construction that is committed to carbon reduction and green development," Antam's President Director, Nico Kanter, said in a press release on Tuesday (8/9).

He explained that both parties would use the advantages of technology and resources to increase cost competitiveness and develop and build industrial estates using OESBF (oxygen-enriched side-blown furnace) to process laterite nickel ore.
