Jakarta - PT Aneka Tambang Tbk (ANTM) plans to continue positive production and sales performance of key commodities throughout this year.

The company estimates that Ferronickel's production and sales volume will reach 24-25 thousand tons of nickel in ferronickel (TNi). The production and sales targets also take into account the high utilization rate of Antam's ferronickel plant in Pomalaa and prioritize the stability and safety of plant operations.

The company targets the net ore commodity to produce nickel ore of around 12.10 million wet metric tons (wmt), up 10 percent from last year's production achievement of 10.01 million wmt.

Sales of nickel ore are being pursued to reach 10.05 million wmt, up 31% from last year's realization of 7.64 million wmt. The increase in the nickel ore sales target aligns with the prospect of growth in the domestic nickel processing industry.
