All Sectors Support JCI Higher


Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite  Index (JCI) on Tuesday (8/16) opened up 0.54%, or 38 points, to 7,129.

There were 199 stocks rising, 120 stocks falling, and 211 stocks stagnant. The value of trading transactions reached Rp293.16 billion from 666.39 million shares traded.

All sectoral indices strengthened along with the JCI. The property and real estate sectors led to the 0.69% gain. The industrial sector rose 0.59%. The non-primary consumer goods sector, the technology industry, and the raw materials industry increased by 0.55%, 0.54%, and 0.34%, respectively.
