Agung Podomoro Books Marketing Sales Rp3.5 Trillion in 2020, above Target

PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (APLN) bagged marketing sales of Rp3.5 trillion as of December 31, last year, exceeding the company's previous target of Rp3 trillion.

Agung Podomoro Land's Corporate Secretary, F Justini Omas said, the marketing sales increased 56% compared to it booked in the same period in 2019, at Rp1.9 trillion.

"The marketing sales was above our initial target of around Rp3 trillion for 2020," said Justini in Jakarta, Tuesday (19/1).

Justini said, from the Rp3.5 trillion of total marketing sales, 89% of which were obtained through 280 hectares of industrial land in Karawang, West Java,  Podomoro Park in Bandung, Podomoro Golf View Cimanggis, and Podomoro City Deli Medan.

As of September 2020, Agung Podomoro posted marketing sales for the property unit amounting to Rp2.4 trillion. This acquisition increased 76% from the same period in 2019, valued at Rp1.4 trillion.

The sales are supported by the sale of a 175 ha land of the industrial estate in Karawang, West Java. Podomoro Park Bandung, Podomoro Golf View, Cimanggis, and Podomoro City Deli in Medan also contributed to the marketing sales. Overall, these four projects account for around 88% of total marketing sales.

At the end of September 2020, Agung Podomoro Land posted a decrease in its total revenue of 1.36% to Rp2.88 trillion compared to the same period in 2019, at Rp2.92 trillion.

However, in detail, the sales segment saw an increase, by 9.32% to Rp2.11 trillion compared to Rp1.93 trillion in the same period in 2019. While, revenue segment posted a decrease of 21.29% to Rp776 billion, Rp986 billion in the period in 2019.
