ASSA Optimistic Indonesia's Economy to Continue Growing

PT Adi Sarana Armada Tbk (ASSA) targets the vehicle rental sector as the leading business amid a rapidly growing market in line with the continuous infrastructure development.

President Director Adi Sarana Armada Prodjo Sunarjanto said the company chose the car rental business because it saw the growing trend of the Indonesian economy.

"Even though it is still being hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, the government is optimistic that Indonesia's economy in the second quarter of 2021 will grow by 6.9-7.8%. So, it is estimated that in 2021 Indonesia's economic growth will be at the level of 4.5-5.3%," he said in Jakarta on Thursday (6/5).

According to Prodjo, the government's commitment to building the infrastructure sector will directly impact the growth of the vehicle rental market and logistics business.

"Moreover, the current economic conditions make business actors more efficient and only focus on core businesses,"
